- BOOGIE MONSTARZ
- Founded in February of 2003 by Phil Tayag, Boogie Monstarz strives to help establish Sacramento as a major city for art and dance. Their mission is to inspire others, by revealing the changes in themselves through performance, style, creativity, story-telling, groove ability, freestyle and self control. Full of hunger and love for dance, each member sets their own standard, creates their own style, and pushes their own limits, yet together, they become innovators and the ultimate entertainers amongst their peers. Bringing it back to Sac is one of their biggest dreams, and with full support from their family, friends, and Family Royale (the dynasty consisting of Boogie Monstarz, Jabbawockeez, Super Galactic Beat Manipulators, and Press Play) they are proud to see it come to life after all these years. Constantly changing the game, and pushing others to do the same, the life of a Boogie Monstar is to keep the passion in hip-hop alive and to its FULLEST.
